Wilbur P Calhoun, who has been instructor in economics in the University since 1915, has this year been appointed to an Assistant Professorship. He was born March 22, 1889, in Wadsworth, Ohio, and received his A.B. from Hiram College in 1913. He then entered the University of Michigan where he was assistant in economics during the year when he completed the work for his Master's degree, 1914. Later he spent sometime at Dartmouth College and at the University of Chicago, as instructor and assisant in economics. Professor Calhoun married Zella Irene Kreider of Oberlin, 1916. They have one child, William, who is 3 years old.
