      Mrs. Georgina Canfield Ives, 73, wife of G. Milton Ives, 121 Belmont Courts, died at 5:10 am June 5 in the A. Barton Hepburn Hospital.

      Mrs. Ives was born in Ogdensburg, Feb. 20, 1884, the daughter of the late Patrick and Ann Hanlin Canfield. She was educated in the Ogdensburg schools, including the Ogdensburg Business School. For several years she was employed as secretary for Fleming & Sovie, a former furniture store and funeral service in Ogdensburg.

      She was married to Mr. Ives Nov. 16, 1909, in St. Mary's rectory by the late Rev. Joseph Creedon. She was a devout member of St. Mary's Cathedral parish.

      Surviving Mrs. Ives, besides her husband, are twin daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Anagene) Geary and Mrs. Hugh (Imogene) Shinnick, both of Canton; a grandson, George Dory, also of Canton; a brother, Joseph Canfield, Ogdensburg; and a sister, Mrs. Grace V. McCarty, Buffalo.

      A solemn High Mass of Requiem was celebrated at 10 at St. Mary's Cathedral by the Rev. Everett Denesha.
