  [S16144775017] Fort Wayne Daily Sentinel, 4, 01 Apr 1885. John Engel died last night at 11:30 at his residence in Wayne township, near the county infirmary, at the age of 70 years. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, services at Lutheran St. John's church, on West Washington street. Mr Engel was road supervisor and school director in Wayne township. He was universally loved and his legion of friends mourn his loss [S8072068432] 1860 United States Census.
