JOHN CRAMBLETT DEAD
Mr. John Cramblett, a former well known resident of Canal Lewisville, but who about eight years ago removed to Richland, Mo., died last Wednesday evening, at the home of Mr. William Richeson, on north Sixth Street, this city. Sometime since the deceased, with his family, left Missouri, driving across the country in a wagon, on their return to their old home at Canal Lewisville. Upon reaching Pataskala, a small station on the Pan Handle, between Newark and Columbus, Mr. Cramblett, who had long been a sufferer from stomach troubles, became so ill that he was compelled to part company with his family and proceed to this city by rail, where he arrived Tuesday evening, about twenty four hours preceding the time of his death. His age was about forty-five years, and he leaves a wife and six children -- four sons and two daughters -- to mourn his departure. One of this children, a daughter, did not accompany the family upon their return, she being married and settled in Missouri. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. C. C. Erwin, will take place at one o'clock this afternoon, following which the remains will receiving interment at Canal Lewisville.
