Charles W. NAWMAN, 86, West Liberty, a Clark county native who was a retired farmer and school custodian at New Moorefield, died shortly after 5 AM Saturday in Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine where he had been a patient nine days. He was a son of Thomas and Alice HINKLE NAWMAN and attended the Wesley Chapel Church. He was a member of the Donnelscreek Council of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics at North Hampton for 65 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Ethel JEWELL; a son Charles Willis NAWMAN and a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Phyllis) LUSTER, both of Springfield; 12 grandchildren; two step-sons, Arnold PAGE of West Liberty and Albert Page of Bellefontaine. His first wife, the former Goldie CALLISON, died in 1947 and a daughter, Evah, and three brothers are also dead. Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Kauffman Funeral Home, West Liberty, in charge of the Rev. Homer Knabel and burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near New Moorefield. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Junior Order of United American Mechanics services will be held in the funeral home at 8 p.m. Monday.
