BLOOMINGTON -- Sheila A. Kinsella, 60, of 901 N. Elder St., Apt. 3, Bloomington, died at 8:52 p.m. Sunday (May 23, 2004) at the home of her sister Diane Yeagle, Bloomington.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Northside Church of Christ, 1908 N. Towanda Barnes Road, Bloomington. Larry Sharp, minister, Northside Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Merna. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, and 9:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
She was born Dec. 18, 1943, at Bloomington, to John and Marcella Weber Kinsella.
Surviving are two brothers, John R. "Jack" (Grace) Kinsella, Mount Prospect, and Kevin (Patti) Kinsella, Cooksville; two sisters, Carole Carloni, Springfield, Pa., and Diane (James) Yeagle, Bloomington; 10 nieces, Karen Kinsella, Mount Prospect; Sally, Karen, Lisa and Mary Carloni, Springfield, Pa.; Jenny (Fred) Lara, Boca Raton, Fla.; Colleen, Katie and Kellie Kinsella, Cooksville; and Julie (Greg) Morgan, Atlanta, Ga.; six nephews, Tom (Jeanine) Carloni, Drexel Hill, Pa.; Brian Kinsella, Plano, Texas; Greg (Margaret) Kinsella, Chicago; Tim (Teri) Kinsella, Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Matt and Steve Kinsella, Mount Prospect.
Her parents and one niece, Angie Yeagle, preceded her in death.
Sheila was a graduate of Trinity High School, Bloomington. She was a graduate from the University of Illinois, Urbana. She had taught home economics in the Chicago area for a number of years. Her interests were sewing and designing.
Sheila rejected opulence, preferring a simple and thrifty lifestyle.
